Felicitation Ceremony for students and principals was held at Embassy of the Republic of Latvia, New Delhi on 10th December 2019.

7 winning students from different regions of India joined embassy for a day to learn about Latvia, its culture, people, diplomacy and diplomatic skills.

Students have explored various topics like culture, history, opportunities in Latvia and essence of diplomacy for a day and enthusiastically participated in the session.

Principals of top schools have actively participated in their session and learn about Latvia, Latvian culture and history, opportunities in Latvia, higher education etc. and were very happy to interact with diplomats and ambassador.

The winning students were felicitated by Latvian Souvenir, the book Rapid Vedic Mathematics by CN Patel and a golden plaque and principals were felicitated by a Certificate of Excellence for their great contribution and encouragement of students to teach them beyond textbooks.

Students, principals and parents have enjoyed delicious dinner after the program and went home with happy and big smile on the face. Principals have highly appreciated the program & methods of organizing whole competition and very interested to have such more programs in future that help students to learn more about country’s history, culture, diplomacy, foreign policies and life of diplomats.

I am greatly thankful for being a winner and got a chance to join embassy of Latvia. It was an amazing and overwhelming experience for me. It was a great honour for me to meet Ambassador. I was impressed and inspired by his pearls of wisdom. I really enjoyed myself and will never forget this day throughout my life. I wish that I can get a chance to visit embassy once more and expecting more such programs in future.
